Session 4 of the ADVANCE Workshop was a complete success, just like Sessions 1-3. Our newborn models slept like angels and we were so grateful for the break in the rainy weather just in time for our outdoor sessions.

I went into this workshop not knowing exactly what to expect. I knew I loved Madison and Trisha's work, I loved all the images they posted, I loved how they devoted so much of their time and energy into their family, and still had time for a business.

Going to this workshop has changed so much of how I am going to run my business. I went to my hotel room that night tossing and turning all night, thinking of the possibilities. Now that I'm home, before I do anything for my business I think what would Trisha and Madison do! That is my motto, I should hang it in my office. These two were so inspirational.

Not only did we get to see how they worked with their clients, posed them, talked with them, and moved them. But we got to see how they did their post processing, which was amazing! We also got a time for Q and A, which was amazing, come ready to write lots of stuff down. I have been a photographer for 3 years now, and knew I didn't know everything, but was literally blown away with what I learned. Now to implement it all.

It was also nice to walk in and feel like you knew these women, you have seen their pictures, seen their posts, and when you start talking you become instant friends! I don't think that happens with everyone.

I left this workshop not only knowing so much more, but knowing that you don't have to do a million mini sessions and never see your own family to make money. That is where I started, it makes me sad thinking back at all the moments I missed of my own families lives. I've gotten better at prioritizing, but now I know I can make more time for family and still have a successful business.

"If you are a photographer wanting to hone your skill and learn from the best you need to attend this workshop! I have been spending the last week+ revamping, editing, getting all my cute little ducks in a row so my clients can not only be happy with the photos they get but have the most amazing experience while they are working with me. I’ve learned more in one day then I have in months and months of research! I honestly want to go back because I am sure that there is something I missed!!

The other amazing part is all the swag we received for attending – it was incredible! The industry partners that are aligned with ADVANCE are top notch! I mean I WON a Studio Baby!!! I have been secretly coveting this amazing poser for *months* now and I actually won it! I mean talk about luck! Needless to say I clearly could go on and on about how wonderful ADVANCE was – I cannot wait to put all I have learned into sessions with you!

TAKING PICTURES AND BEING A PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER REQUIRES SOME TRAINING FROM TIME TO TIME!!I HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT DIFFERENT OPTIONS AROUND, AND TRUST ME, THERE ARE PLENTY!!I DECIDED TO INVEST IN THE THE ADVANCE WORKSHOP IN TULSA, OK AND TALKED A FEW PALS INTO ATTENDING AS WELL:))
THE PAIR THAT TEACH THE COURSE, TRISHA & MADISON ARE PRETTY MUCH OPPOSITE,WHICH IS FANTASTIC…IF YOU COULDN’T RELATE TO ONE ON A TOPIC, THE OTHER WOULD PIPE IN AND THEN YOU GOT IT.
I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. I AM A HANDS-ON TYPE OF LEARNER…SEE IT FOR MYSELF.HEAR HOW THEY ARE TALKING, SEE WHO THEY ARE. AND THIS ACCOMPLISHED THAT AND MUCH MORE. ‘THE WORKSHOP GAVE ME A FEW OF THE PIECES OF THE PUZZLE I WAS MISSING AND THAT WAS HUGE FOR ME.MY ONLY REGRET WAS NOT WRITING DOWN MORE QUESTIONS TO ASK THERE!!I AM THRILLED A COACHING CALL IS INCLUDED WITH THE COURSE BECAUSE I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THAT!I AM ALREADY LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 201 BEACH CLASS:)

Advance workshop was an informative and important workshop to attend. I learned things I didn't know I needed to know, as well as a few things I was doing right. It was a solid approach on the business of photography and all that it entails. Aside from the knowledge we gained, it was a fun time spent with girls with the same passion for capturing the love between family members, the youth of a senior, and the delicacy of a newborn. I am really happy I went to Advance March 2014!

Trisha and Madison cut through the craziness of thousands of ways to do things and tell you what works!! Now I can invest my energy in what I know will work and enjoy bringing others great memories through my own photography. I have an incredibly busy life and I do not have any time to waste! I have left this experience knowing that I have some skill and that I can feel confident in pursuing a lifelong dream.
